Northern Storm Football & Sports Club was established in February 1994 as Korora Soccer and Sports Club. With expansion, the club name was changed in 2004, at which point the York Street playing fields began to be used in conjunction with the already-used Plantain Road Oval ('The Cove') at Korora. 'The Cove' is the club's Senior home ground, and the Men's Premier League and Reserves Grades play their home matches there, along with competitive age juniors.
The club mainly represents the region from northern Coffs Harbour to Emerald Beach, however we have attracted players from all areas in our zone.
Through the years the club has gone from strength to strength and risen to our current position as one of the largest clubs on the north coast of NSW. The club currently fields 29 teams (25 of which are juniors and 4 seniors) and more than 380 players in the North Coast Football and now in the new Coastal Premier League competitions.
Northern Storm prides itself on being a family club and looking after all ages. We currently have players aged from 5 years to 60+ years, some of whom have been with the club for more than 15 years.
