A wake up call for the Northern Storm coming into the finals with a 2-1 loss with Maclean. A very tough game in the heat which took a lot out of our guys. Maclean put on a very good performance in defence and attack then sadly they had a major injury to Grant Neilson who twisted his knee and was carried off to hospital, hope all is well with grant.
The Northern Storm couldn’t break the defence with only one goal scored by John Mangar in the 11th minute of the second half. Our man of the match was Callum Smith for a great solid performance. We have a big game this week against Coffs United so let’s lift guys. We can’t afford to coast along we need to win and show the teams in the finals that we have the team to win.
