ROUND 16 –V- THE COFFS COAST COUGARS.
A more cohesive performance from the team this week. We got off to
a roaring start and dominated the first half with solid defence and fantastic
open play. We fell asleep after half time but the team got back to
their best after the oranges kicked in. Plenty of goals were scored
and the Cougars put up a pretty good fight with some brilliant goal keeping to
keep them in touch with the Hurricanes. In the end the Hurricanes were
too strong and it was reassuring to see them take on board what they focused on
at training last week.
A special mention this week goes to Sam and Alec for great all round
play and passing.
Coach Scott was happy with the performance but said we need to look at
our start after half time.
It might have been the team get together on the weekend that got the
guys going this week. What a great day for all the families of the
Hurricanes.
