It was with terrible sadness that we learned of the tragic deaths on Friday of Rachel & Dixie Erlandsen. Rachel was a close friend and schoolmate to many of our current women’s players, having played for our U16 Girls & Women’s Reserves teams in 2013-14. Rachel’s mum, Dixie, was heavily involved in local football as President of Urunga Football Club. 

Anyone who came into contact with Rachel & Dixie knows how kind hearted & dedicated they were. It is an incredible loss and our heartfelt sympathy goes out to all of their family & friends.
