Match Report:

This was the first game on the full field for all these players, most of which have skipped under 11s to fill some spaces in the under 12s ranks.

There were a lot of parents sideline expecting the boys to be worn out after the first 10 minutes...

From the kickoff, the Storm boys took charge, with a great set of passes up the field in attack and within the first couple of minutes, the ball was in the back of the net.

And again from the restart, the Hurricanes kept control of the ball playing some great passing football, holding postions well and using the space to their advantage.

The first 15 minutes yeilded 4 goals, and it was becoming clear that the Storm had their opposition's number on this day.

To their credit the Pumas kept getting up and giving their all on was a very hot and tough day for them, managing to break through into open space late in the first half to score a goal.

The second half brough more of the same, some good skill and control let the Storm players cut through the defense almost at will.

At the end, it was 15 to the Storm and the single goal to the Pumas.

Special mention goes to new recruit Dylan Vandermaat, first game of soccer ever, had a good half in goals, and some solid defending on the field in the second half. Keep it up Dylan!
